The video documents Interface I by Ralf Baecker. The project revolves around the meaning and the behavior of the interface, here called into play to represent and to negotiate two different systems of motors unified at the center by strings. Both motors pull their string in the opposite direction. The system acquires a behavior determined by interaction of the single elements. Interface is ‘vital’ somehow.
