Video post proposes the trailer of The Night Journey, an experimental project realized by pioneer video artist Bill Viola, in collaboration with University of Southern California’s Game Innovation Lab. Viola’s suspended atmospheres, belonging to its videographer language, enter into the world of video game and guide into an individual spiritual journey inspired by figures, such as: Rumi, the 13th century Islamic poet and mystic; Ryōkan, the 18th century Zen Buddhist poet; St. John of the Cross, the 16th century Spanish mystic and poet; and Plotinus, the 3rd century philosopher. The game debuted at the SIGGRAPH art gallery in 2007, and it has been continuing to be exhibited all around the world. it is now released the version for PC/MAC and Playstation 4.
