Toolkit Festival organizes an educational exhibition by carrying out three simultaneous workshops focused on multimedia and new technologies used in contemporary artistic practices. The courses will be based in Venice and will be held over three days. They will be held by expert tutors with extensive experience in their respective fields of work and experimentation: interactivity and digital scenography (edited by Martin Romeo), multidisciplinary connections art/science and augmented reality (curated by Luca Pozzi), sound and sound design (by Andrea Santini).
The workshops belong to different disciplines and develop independed subjects, but all three will aim to the realization of personal projects, which converge in a final collective moment with all the other participants, in order to create an opportunity for critical discussion and exchange of experiences and reflections between the three different areas of research.
WORKSHOP 1: Making images
WORKSHOP 2: Messages of gravity – fascinations about the meaning of the term network between art, theoretical physics and new technologies
WORKSHOP 3: Reinventing the sound – Introduction to audio programming in Pure Data
