The third edition of Green Tech was hosted in Pisa on 10-11 April, 2015. Green Tech is the first festival of its kind, dedicated to electronic music and art, conceived and designed as a privileged vehicle for the promotion of issues related to environmental respect. The festival came into being with the goal of exploring and disclosing the new forms of intersection between technology and the environment. Its mission is to make the public more aware of issues related to environmental respect by promoting an innovative identity within the setting of eco-sustainable ethics. The very heart of the festival finds its raison d’etre in the rhythms of recent trends in today’s electronic world which are the results of work within the context of cutting-edge research fused with the underground of young subcultures. A special area has been added to the musical project dedicated to performances, installations and video art. The intention is to spotlight visual art along with artistic/ technological fusion projects, selected through a call for entry.
Francesco Soave’s interactive installation Mind The Chair is a real time audiovisual representation of cerebral activity generated in function of brain waves measured by Mindwave.
