The press releases and exhibition announcements that reached our editorial team from RP Press – the press office she founded in 2018 alongside Maria Letizia Paiato – were always a guarantee of the quality of the exhibitions and events covered, presented with a style of communication far removed from any form of automatism or formalism.
Her career saw her engaged in the art world from various angles: from her long-standing collaboration with Cesare Manzo, with whom she founded ‘Fuori Uso’ in the 1990s – a landmark event for contemporary art of that decade – to her leadership, from 2005, of the cultural association Grand Hotel, dedicated to organising exhibitions and events, and to her role as curator of the visual arts section at MAC – Matta Arte Contemporanea, devising exhibitions, artist residencies and talks.
This professional and personal journey makes Marcella Russo and her work a precious example to be cherished.
