This video documents the installation «Levitate (thirty-one)» by artist Erwin Redl, where thirty-one glass pipes are vertically suspended on a wall. Each pipe has a small fan on the bottom, which propels a Ping-Pong ball up into the pipe. All thirty-one synchronized fans levitate the Ping-Pong balls in tightly choreographed sequences.This installation is now part of his solo-show at the Bitforms Gallery, New York.
