The video captures extracts of Memo Atken’s experience, a virtual reality project commissioned by STRP to investigate human perception and the way in which this concretize reality and confers to it objectivity. Objective for whom? In Aitken’s Fight visitors’s eyes are exposed to a phenomenon known as binocular rivalry. The vision will only focus on one of the two images alternating one with another, following criteria dictated by the unconscious mind. Neurobiology, science and computation, merge together in a work that can only be decoded by personal experience.
