VIDEO POST relaunches SonarMies, the sound intervention of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, this year with Reprocessing…Piano + AI, a radical exercise in openness and creative experimentation, where featured musicians from the Sónar 2023 program will experiment with an artificial intelligence system that reacts live in every musical gesture of the pianist.
The artificial intelligence has been developed by Philippe Salembier and Josep Maria Comajuncosas, and the continued work with piano virtuoso Marco Mezquida has brought it to a creative and technological maturity.
