VIDEO POST relaunches Echo Chamber by Martin Messier, choreography of sound and light inspired to ultrasound and acupuncture, two technologies employed in medicine and applied to our bodies, now at the Festival SONAR+D in Barcelona. The three panels that shape the interface, are pierced by needles through an audio-reactive plate that sets off sound sequences. The panels become screen projectors where the movements of Messier’s body appear as shadows alternated to electric charges, a window that opens to the interior of the body, the whole becomes interface that bridges the world and the self, the inside and the outside.
