The idea of sculpture is always expanding in multiple directions, such as the performative one of Real-Time Face Generator by Nobumichi Asai, an installation capable of recreating a face in thrimensional space in real time through a 3D mirror (in Japanese kagami) and a process of visual mapping.This work is the result of a collaboration between WOW (Nobumichi Asai) and a project team from Kao Corporation, who drew their inspiration from the ‘OMOTE’ project. It has been established as an exhibit at Kao’s COCOLAB museum, founded in September this year.
