For a long time, the digital world and digital culture have moved on a parallel plane to the real one, with highs and lows.
For several years now, The Wrong Biennale has situated itself between worlds and systems, creating a Biennale online with Pavilions and artworks conceived to be distributed between cyberspace and local institutions – institutes of cultures, museums or alternative spaces. A large network committed to welcoming numerous artists who have expressed themselves in the liquid world.
With the global health emergency we are witnessing a race for cyberspace. Museums ending up on the web, guided tours of major exhibitions. The art overload has moved online with hours and hours of streaming, archives and much more.
Those who have grown up on the Internet and followed it with a critical eye, to a greater or lesser extent, feel the need to invert the trend and adapt to a slower, rather than faster, pace.
The Wrong Biennale platform has transformed itself once more, becoming The Wrong TV, a platform for digital art, music and culture, live streaming program. Some aim at slowing down time, promoting physical wellbeing and an escape from the overload of information.
You can watch the daily program in the index or browse digital artworks in The Wrong Biennale archive, listen to music and much more. The new look of the platform will form the basis for the next biennale, scheduled to take place in November 2021.
