The realization of intelligent second skins is now a shared branch between science and design. This is the case of the work by Jhu-Ting Yang e Lisa Stohn part of the research collective Artificial Skins and Bones Group that in these days was awarded at the historical festival of Ars Electronica in Linz. Inspired by the octopus the project poses itself as an artificiale interface capable of alterating its same color or patter through muscle activity.
