VIDEO POST relaunches the video documenting the various stages of Stranger Visions, a 2013 project by Heather Dewey-Hagborg that made history for its critical stance on the use of DNA phenotyping practices in forensics, aimed at a culture of biological surveillance and the drive towards genetic determinism.

This project was created with the support of Eyebeam and the mentorship of Genspace and NYU’s Advanced Media Studio. It is in the collection of the Centre Pompidou and private collections worldwide.
