COSTELLAZIONE BOARIO

COSTELLAZIONE BOARIO is an expanded performance that, in the evening of October 24, 2026 (from 9p.m. on) and within the Romaeuropa Festival, will unfold within the historic Campo Boario at the former Mattatoio complex, home to the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. Performative actions, video projections, interactive installations and sound installations unfold along a route leading from the Pelanda to the Campo Boario and the former haylofts (Ex Fienili), inviting visitors to discover an industrial heritage site undergoing significant transformation, where traces of the past resonate with contemporary artistic practices.

COSTELLAZIONE BOARIO encompasses several strands of artistic practice that coexist and engage in dialogue, each retaining its own formal and conceptual autonomy. The individual projects are curated by Pedro Alcalde, Mauro Palatucci, Cristian Rizzuti and Luca Valerio, all artists who teach on the Multimedia Arts and Photography and Video programmes. The performance at CrossinGallery is curated by the duo LU.PA and coordinated by Elena Bellantoni, a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome.
