The New Atlas of Digital Art

For the fifth consecutive year, the MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan reflects on digital creativity scenarios with leading international professionals and artists. The goal is to highlight the potential of immersive creative experiments as a possible driver of cultural, social, and economic innovation.

How can the parallel realities created by digital coexist with the realities in being? Beyond the frontiers of Virtual Reality, we will try to immerse ourselves in an increasingly widespread and pervasive immersivity, which creates subtle admixtures between real and virtual: from Augmented Reality to Extended Reality and Mixed Rality, including the creative potential of Artificial Intelligence.

The Atlas will open a series of reflections to frame the theme from all its facets and share with experts, practitioners and the public, opportunities and possible futures.

The map will draw boundaries and frontiers of immersive experiences, the languages and expressive currents that are drawing new ways of doing culture, the places and protagonists of immersivity, formats and ways of engaging the public with encounter events.
