The Djerassi Resident Artists Program (DRAP) is internationally recognized as one of the eminent artist residency programs. Its mission is to support and enhance the creativity of artists by providing uninterrupted time for work, reflection and collegial interaction in a setting of great natural beauty. DRAP strives to provide the best possible residency experience for artists from a diverse range of backgrounds and geographical locations. As stewards of a unique and beautiful property located in Woodside, on the San Francisco Peninsula, DRAP also seeks to preserve the land and use its facilities wisely and efficiently for maximum benefit to the artists and with the least impact on the environment. In 2014, DRAP launched Scientific Delirium Madness, the first art-and-science–themed residency at the Djerassi Program in collaboration with Leonardo/ISAST.
