FRAME captures Body Press, an early work by Spanish artist Daniel Canogar that recalls Io che prendo il sole a Torino by Alighieri Boetti (1969). The encounter between objects and perception gives life to images. In Canogar’s work light becomes object and part of the composition. This preludes to the most recent work, three dimensional installations that conceptualize media as sculpture. Language becomes a complicit that is equally important, in this case to materialize the physicality of the hands (projected through light) pressing on the walls, as suggested by the title (Body Pressure).
