The image captured by FRAME belongs to the work iMac Music by Jonathan Reus, Dutch-American sound artist and art-technology researcher working through expanded forms of musicmaking, instrumentations, tools and mathematical representations as artistic forms. The project results from a series of user interventions into early iMac G3 computers, final of a audio-visual live performance where images and sounds are tapped from the running circuitry of the computer. iMac Music has occured in various configurations, solo with percussion, percussion trio, and an individual intervention with multiple machines.
