FRAME proposes a work by London based artists Revital Cohen & Tuur Van Balen who ‘work across objects, installation and film that explore process of production as cultural, personal and political practices’. The image portraits a works realised for «Disappearing Legacies: The World as Forest», one of a trilogy of shows curated by Anna-Sophie Springer e Etienne Turpin for Museums of Natural History: the skeleton of a Paradise Bird is reconstructed in the profile of a neon: from scientific research, lately interested in this specimen in order to fight its extinction in countries such as Indonesia, leads to the collective imagination of fables that in many cases recognised in the Paradise Bird magic powers.
