The image portrays a detail of a 3D sculpture, part of the series Solid Vibration, a production by Studio van Broekhoven SoundShapeLab with designer Olivier van Herpt. The Studio van Broekhoven SoundShapeLab was founded in 2012 by Ricky van Broekhoven, a musician with degrees in design and architecture. Previous collaborations have been with filmmakers, motion graphic artists, creative agencies, museums and health care institutions. In this piece, part of a series belonging to an ongoing project, the sculpture shapes its texture by sound vibration while 3D printing clay.
