Some time ago, the PAN – Palazzo delle Arti in Naples, had announced its reopening and program address with its complementary structure in the Metaverse, the Metapan, and through the projects of four artists representing the different project directions of future programming, Bianco-Valente, Aureia Harvey, Chiara Passa, Quayola. The virtual installations are now accompanied by a series of lectures for a cycle of Masterclasses open to the public (online) being held from April to July 2024 with six lectures addressed to young graduates from different Italian universities and of different backgrounds and with the participation of some of the most important professors and experts in art and new media of national and international relevance – Francesco Spampinato, Professor of History of Contemporary Art, Alma Master Studiorum University of Bologna; Andrea Pinotti, Professor of Aesthetics, Università Statale di Milano; Ruggero Eugeni, Professor of Media Semiotics, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano; Elisabetta Modena, Researcher in Contemporary Art History, University of Pavia.
After meeting Vincenzo Trione and Maria Grazia Mattei who introduced the course and Francesco Spampinato on May 9, the artists invited to inaugurate the virtual space, Bianco-Valente, Aureia Harvey, Chiara Passa, and Quayola, will meet students and the public on May 23.

MetaPan is a digital project-funded by the Metropolitan City of Naples and promoted by the City of Naples in partnership with MEET Digital Culture Center, the International Center for Digital Art and Culture in Milan, recognized in 2023 as a museum by Regione Lombardia-is curated by Maria Grazia Mattei, Founder and President of MEET and Valentino Catricalà, curator of contemporary art, with technical supervision by architect Giuliano Bora, who created the space within the immersive three-dimensional platform Spatial.io. The initiative is part of the Napoli Contemporanea program, curated by Vincenzo Trione, adviser to the Mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi for contemporary art and museum activities.
