VIDEO POST proposes the documentation of the interactive installation realised in 2016 by Tanja Busking who transformed the The Eye at the Van Abbemuseum into The Intimate Earthquake Archive, an archive of seismic recordings of gas-induced earthquakes translated into a sensory experience. A series of capsules hanged from the ceiling, each emitting an earthquake, data recorded by the Dutch Meteorological Institute in Groningen, and here transmitted through a long-wave radio system created by Carsten Tonn-Petersen. Wearable suites translated data into vibrations to experience through the body.
