Zetema, on behalf of the Capitoline Superintendency for Cultural Heritage, launches an international competition aiming to select two artists that will be asked to realize an artistic project within the premises of MACRO, located in Rome (Italy), Via Nizza 138.
The competition, open to Italian and international artists and artistic groups, considers all of the visual art languages. Thanks to this activity, MACRO aims to develop a new relationship between the artists and the Museum, in order to promote those local experiences, both national and international, focused on avant-guard researches, by assigning two creative residencies.
The aim of this project is based upon the need to make the artist the main character of the Museum’s activity, supporting the complete creative process, from the production phase to the actual exhibition. Thanks to the collaboration and the dialogue with all the Museum departments, the artists in residence will be able to take part to the activities of the institution and enjoy the conceptual and executive support of the Museum.
