Kernel Festival grows, evolves, changes, extends and transforms itself. We want to collect and bring together, not only artists from all over the world, but future ideas, projects and new proposals … yours!
Proposals for discussion panels, workshops, meetings and publications join this year the installations and performances of interactive, digital, audiovisual art and music, that continue to build the architecture of the Festival.
Kernel is a sharing platform where art, technology and experimentation find their place. We intend performance, entertainment and public, but in the same way, participation, contamination and experience.
Kernel is a wide space for ideas and projects: a place for meeting, exchange and dialogue, not only between the public, well-known and emerging artists -developing their own expressivity participating in the alteration of the contemporary artistic language- but also between them and researchers, writers and curators who wish to submit and raise reflections in the debate of the emerging trends, on the relationship between art and technology.
Therefore the Call /013 encourages not only to present proposals of art projects, but also of conferences, meetings, workshops or whatever you believe should be integrated in the new edition of the Festival.
The Call /013, with the selected proposals, will build not only the Kernel Festival /013, but also a series of moments and opportunities that will grow and emerge over time from the Kernel platform. In this sense, the Call is without deadline.
