Since its foundation in 1949, the Istituto Svizzero di Roma has encouraged the education of young artists and researchers by offering them the opportunity of a residency in Rome. Following on from this tradition, the ISR offers – as part of its residency scheme – the possibility of following a trans-disciplinary programme consisting of a series of research, creation and training activities in various disciplines and scientific and artistic practices, offered to twelve selected artists and researchers each year. To this end, the Istituto Svizzero di Roma is publishing a new call for the twelve residency positions at Villa Maraini from September 2017 to July 2018.
