Local and global, technology and tradition meet face to face in Italy for first edition of the First Art Bienniale of Abruzzo’s Young Art – Prima Biennale D’Arte Giovane Abruzzese. Eleven established artists have been invited to speak with eleven young artists to explore multi-media and the future through various idioms and technologies. The spectrum of experimentation expands in order to promote understanding in a process of continuous exchange.
Painting, architecture, sculpture, robotics, net art, theatre biomechanics, sound engineering and lighting design are some of the elements that will be used to tell of an itinerary of interaction (conceived in well-structured stations) in motion and fusion arranged in such a way as to renew visual and sensorial landscapes.
Mutaforma is curated by Lucia Zappacosta, wanted by the Culture Department of the City of Francavilla al Mare, endorsed by cultural association Contemporary in collaboration with Communitè srl and Soprintendenza per i Beni Storici, Artistici e Etnoantropologici dell’Abruzzo, patronized by Gai, Bjcem, and the President of the Regional Council of Abruzzo.
