Frame captures the image of the installation of young artist Alicia Eggert interested, through an interdisciplinary approach, to investigate the relationship between language, image and time. The steel staircase is literarily built from language, the one used to describe its construction. The words, ‘rise’ and ‘tread’ also refer to the ideals and efforts necessary for social progress. Then, the title (Above and Beyond) guides our sight towards the surrounding space.
