FRAME captures the memory of an historical moment: the revelation of the image of a black hole, in this case the one at the center of the M87 Galaxy, 55 millions light years distant from the Earth. To the memory of this image, that further confirms Einstein’s theory of relativity and that materialise the horizon of events, we would like to add the one of the process that shapes these kind of images, often named by the media as ‘shots’. The image results, in fact, from combination of different data and sources extrapolated from different antenna belonging to the EHT network. They capture spatial frequencies and they translate them into pixel in different simultaneous processes of elaboration of data that can last for years, in this case about six years.
