Digital Grotesque II by Michael Hansmeyer, habitable sculpture and architecture, is the 3D materialization of an algorithm that simulated all the possible angles and perspectives by which the spectator can observe the grotto. The project, continuation of Digital Groteque I (2013), has premiered at Centre Pompidou’s «Imprimer le monde» exhibition. «Digital Grotesque II – claims it author – is a testament to and celebration of a new kind of architecture that leaves behind traditional paradigms of rationalization and standardization and instead emphasizes the viewer’s perception, evoking curiosity and bewilderment».
