This reconstruction of a domestic laboratory is a performative installation by Thomas Teurlai inspired by Urban Mining, a practice that is more and more used to extract precious metals from obsolete electronic components. One of these is the europium, silver metal, soft and precious. The space becomes performative by effectively activating the process of urban mining to reveal all its controversial aspects such as the pollution that it provokes in a measure that is far more relevant than the conquered treasure.
