The image belongs to a work by artist Cildo Meireles, one of the pioneers to experiment with immersive and multi sensorial installations in the Sixties within a research guided by an interest that is mainly pointed to a political and social direction. Maruhlo (1991-1997) invites us to wolk along a jetty to enter into a marine landscape where reality and representation converge, vision and sound merge into one bouncing from one perceptive channel to the other.
