Land art and architecture converge into Mirage by Doug Aitken, realized for the «Desert Biennial», a non profit organization that means to engage established and emerging artists to drag the attention toward the Coachella Valley in the United States that “becomes a canvas for a curated exhibition of site-specific work by established and emerging artists, whose projects amplify and articulate global and local issues…”. In Mirage exterior and interior merge into the flux of images that the mirror walls captures and reflect from the surrounding landscape.
