Frame captures one of Mark Wagner‘s collages, since decades engaged in destroying banknotes to then recompose their fragments into allegoric compositions, landscapes at the crossroad between power, wealth, and American identity. Distruction and archiving are, thus, a fundamental part of his methodology of the project. His work is now part of international museums, such as Museum of Modern Art, the US Federal Reserve Board, and the Smithsonian Institute.
