VIDEO POST relaunches “A Woman with the Technology” by Ziyang Wu, a video animation generated by employing the ‘filter bubble’, a system that tracks internet users’ behaviours by monitoring the keywords submitted on the search engines also employed in AI. The material are selected keywords close to the artists’ focus. The artist’s activity is then recorded and organised over three months, and the clips and sentences containing the top 50 keywords are used to compose a 3-channel video. All the video’s captions, subtitles, and ‘dense captions’ are utilized by an AI Chatbot in order to generate a ‘successful film script’, (including the title) producing an animated video based on this material. It traces the creative process of AI while placing at the forefront its unpredictability.
