As We Are is the mechanical sculpture by Mathew Mohr, a project of public art realized in Columbus (Ohio) and dedicated to individual reproduction of the self destined to be reshaped by its circulation in the collective media. Each visitor is photographed by the predisposed 3D camera to be then shifted to the sculpture in a monumental scale. The self, as portrayed through the image becomes visible beyond measure, re-configured in its profile through a software that stylizes the physiognomy adapting it to the proportions of the sculpture.
