VIDEO POST relaunches Fly Tweet, chosen in the archives of the prolific artist David Bowen. Twitter messages are ‘written’ by the activities of a collection of houseflies that lives inside an acrylic sphere with a computer keyboard. The flies live their lives inside the house, inevitably touching the keyboard from time to time. When they touch the keys for 140 times (corresponding to the maximum characters allowed by Twitter), or when they touch the ‘enter’ key, the message appears on twitter. The animal life writes its own dynamics on the social channel in real time.
