The video documents Perspection, multi-screened audiovisual installation born from the collaboration between Montreal-based Matthew Biederman and Berlin’s Pierce Warnecke for the «On festival» at Werkleitz (Halle, Germany). The distortion of anamorphic images fuels a an illusionistic play that materializes a spatial puzzle. By employing Max patch-driven Kinect to 3D track the authors made the installation, and the spaces it creates, responsive to the viewer’s position. Space, its depth and dimension are all a mental production to which sound is greatly complice.
