Underwater is a large-scale suspended installation that shapes from data of the liquid surface. These data, precisely the ones that originate from the wave action on the surface of Lake Superior, activate the mechanical installation consisting of hundreds of individual servomotors. The complex and subtle movements on the surface of the water are simulated within the installation by the servomotors moving according to the collected data. In 2013, for the duration of three month, Underwater was installed at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts recreating the dynamic water movement from hundreds of miles away.
