CALL FOR APPLICATIONS > VORTEX IMMERSION MEDIA FULLDOME | ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE
Vortex Immersion Media is now accepting applications for its first international artist in residence program located in Los Angeles, California. The program is for artists interested in experimenting and exploring fulldome technology and immersive experience. Artists will receive hands on training provided by our Creative Director, access to the dome to work on projects and test concepts, one on one consultation and a public presentation of their experience at the end of the residency. The Vortex Immersion Media fulldome artist in residence will run June 1 – 30, 2014.
Artists receive 16 hours of training in dome production, up to 3 hours per week of dome time for testing concepts, one hour week consultation with Creative Director, public presentation accompanied by curated dome art show, and opportunity for licensing agreement for distribution of their work.
