As part of the Transart Triennale, the 2016LBMP team, led by Josephine Turalba, is seeking submissions of videos that explore built, temporary, and imagined architecture for understanding shared histories, culture and inter-connectedness, within a framework of ‘The Imperceptible Self’. Spurring dialogues on syncopations of the permanent and synchronisations of the displaced through built and imaginary structures, artists engage the borrowed concepts of adaptive re-use, sustainability, and repurposing from architectural frameworks vis-à-vis contemporary existences, otherness, the collective, individual and hybrid identities.
