Call > Performance in Rome with Francesca Arri

VILLAM, in collaboration with MACRO ASILO invites to an open call for performer, students, young artists, and everybody who is interested in experimenting with performative language during the workshop held by artist Francesca Arri. Participants are required the availability for two encouters on May 1st and May 2nd, from 11 a.m. until 6p.m. The performance will take place within this time. You can participate by writing to:

The performance is part of the project Tu vs Everybody, promoted by Anita Calà and VILLAM with the co-curation of Elena Giulia Rossi, that will take place in Venice in concomitance with the opening of the Venice Biennale and as a collateral event

Francesca Arri (1983) is a performer and a visual artist interested in analising society through the language of performance, declined both through a variety of media and empatic experience. Her work was depicted internationally in institutions such as Hangar Bicocca Foundation (Milan), Merz Foundation (Turin), Matadero (Madrid), Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Tel Aviv), 12th Istanbul Biennale (Istanbul), White Box Gallery (New York), CAPA (New York), E-Flux (New York), in collaboration with Serpentine Gallery (London), Kopfbau Basilea, Inter Art Gallery (Beijin), Uninghen (Berlin/London), Centro Cultural MAC Montevideo, Museo de las Mujeres (Cordoba, Spain), Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall (Taipei), Hangzhou Library Hangzhou, Dance Ireland (Dublino), Trafò House (Budapest).
