FRAME > Been there

Frame captures a work by Lithuanian photographer Simas Lin. Despite he is known as a photographer, his work lays at the borders of art languages and disciplines, in between photography, painting, conceptual and performative. His shots are translated into conceptual, synaesthetic works. The landscape depicted in the image is  shot in Vilnius. By working with artificial light the landscape becomes the portrait of the experience of being there. The huge potential of technology of capturing images and data from any angle of the Universe, Simas Lin adds a human emotional touch. He thus reverse the role of technology, now at his complete service.
