The NONE collective announced the second edition of the event SIMPOSIO that this year will take place in July with three intensive days immersed in the landscape and mood of the Dolomiti.
The NONE collective is an Italian collective of young architects interested in researching identity boundaries, the relationships between man and machine, between cinema and art and the historical and technological changes which have shaped them and which have come to their attention. The production of projects, some of which are commissioned, alternates with the organisation of Symposia that see members of the collective opening up to exchanges with professionals from diverse backgrounds that challenge the themes present in their work.
These Symposia consist of a schedule of activities, meetings, performances and installations aimed at activating public debate and stimulating reflection on contemporary society and its perceptive, cognitive, social and economic implications. After a series of symposia organised in the None studio in Rome, the second edition takes places in the ENI Village of Borca di Cadore: three days of debates, performances and installations through which participants will attempt to reformulate the rules of contemporary society, with the aid of workshops and self-managed laboratories.
The ENI village is a post-war utopic project situated at the heart of the Dolomites, the outcome of Enrico Mattei’s vision and created by the architect Edoardo Gellner.
The Symposium project plans to organise three days where participants will live together in the Village spaces, repopulating the wooden camping huts, restoring the canteen and using the wonderful community spaces. 160 willing participants (the maximum number allowed to take part) will take part in the three-day-long event, engaging with the mountains, artistic practices, concrete analysis and the idea of utopia; artists and scholars will share ideas and thoughts, confronting the need to establish a new collective model, starting from the Village.
The goal of Symposium is to create a real community which stimulates perception, critical skills and deep thinking in an attempt to create new models with which to understand contemporary society and create new worlds. By exiting one’s own perceptive bubble, away from the comfort zone provided by Google, new ideas of society will be put forward.

NONE is an artistic collective based in Rome that operates on the boundaries – between art, design and technological research. It was founded by Gregorio De Luca Comandini, Mauro Pace and Saverio Villirillo.
NONE is a physical and conceptual space that develops transmedia projects aimed at interpreting the contemporary condition of humans living in the digital society.
NONE uses technology, architecture and narrative to immerse people in an experience that interprets the eternal dilemmas of humanity, stories that tackle the uncertainty of questions without answers, the confusion of having to distinguish between authenticity and fiction. NONE explores the boundaries of identity, awareness and perception, producing experiences that examine the relation between numbers and nature, what is artificial and what is human, memory and imagination, autonomy and thought.
