The video captures the installation by FREQUENCY PAINTING : SOUNDBURSTING NO.1 (2012) di Gary James Joynes, sound artist, compositore e visual intermedia artist, interested in rendering sound perceptible throughout synaesthetic processes.“What if we could SEE the moment a sound is created? Imagine this sound moving outward from its source and playing with other sounds… what would we see”? These are the questions expressed in the artist statement and the stimulus that shapes the project. This is how the tone and image start to duet in two separate compositions that interact and intersect in an evolving movement and changing rhythm of looping.This is how Gary James Joynes paints and portraits frequencies of sound, making their appearance into the perceptible dimension possible.
